Origins

The Trust Fund holds money donated or bequeathed to the battalion. Until the 1990s, these amounts were held in many small accounts, each to be used for a specific purpose. In 1991, it was decided to rationalise this by taking all funds into one account, to be used to help members of the battalion, administered by a small group of trustees.

Aims of the Trust

Companies can request grants to help finance

· a boy's attendance at a camp, training event or special activity that will encourage his personal development;

· a leaders attendance at a training event to gain skills that will enhance their company's activities;

· resources that will expand their company's programme.
